Making a list, checking it twice. |
|
Hillary’s positive aspects Determination, mental strength, and persistence Organization and planning Experience and knowledge Personal experience of sexism Extremely intelligent Chelsea and Bill
Hillary’s negative aspects The dynasty thing The DLC thing and the fact that she has become one with the conservative democrats. Support of the "buy insurance" plan rather than national healthcare ********************************** Obama’s positive aspects Optimism Personal experience of racism Not born and raised in a wealthy family (by the way, see Bill Clinton for reference on how they’re likely to treat him if he gets into the White House. D.C. people tend to view people who weren’t born wealthy as undeserving outsiders.) Also extremely intelligent Ability to attract people and capture their loyalty Michelle, Malia, and Sasha
Obama’s negative aspects Relative inexperience His plans appear to be mostly based on optimism and may not take accurately reflect reality, especially in D.C. Support of the "buy insurance" plan rather than national healthcare. ************************************ Before we get into it about the order, I did it on the Ladies first concept.

1. Where do you place "warped perception of reality"? |

8 years of republican non-stop harassment, accusations, and threats while they were in the White House had to have taken a lot of strength to survive.

11. You must have needed a lot of mental strength to come up with that argument. |

12. If Obama can demonstrate the same strength |

I will relax and consider the democratic party very lucky. So far he hasn't had to show us whether he's that strong. He hasn't really come under the type of attack that Hillary weathered for 8 years.

You can put these in the "positive" or "negative" category, depending on your point of view
Hillary:
Ability to dodge gunfire in a war zone and mentally shield her daughter and others from same Ability to effectively avoid answering controversial questions until such time as she needs a distraction Ability to kiss and make up with those that once accused her and her husband of murder
Obama:
Ability hate the sin without hating the sinner (Wright) Ability to magically make his poll numbers rise even while under constant attack Ability to cut through the bullshit and get people to talk about issues that they need to talk about, but don't want to talk about

I'm trying to make a list that is accurate and not tilted toward one candidate or the other. While not a surprise, you're here campaigning. There's a difference.

4. the organization and planning hasn't come through in her campaign |
|
though she is known for it otherwise.
I'd put Bill in the negative at this point in history. When she was running as herself I liked it better than after Iowa when she became former co-president with Bill as current attack dog.
The Bosnia stuff is what really put me over the edge.
I like your approach - I'm a listmaker too!

I've been trying to organize my thoughts and thought I'd throw it up against the wall to see how it looked. :)
