Very interesting. I received this email from a friend. I followed the link for convention information & found that Hillary has listed HERSELF as the host for ALL of the county conventions. Oh really?

Thank you for being a delegate or an alternate for Hillary in your precinct. We are depending on you to deliver Texas for Hillary one more time at your Aransas County Convention at 301 North Live Oak Street in Rockport this Saturday, March 29 starting at 4:00 PM.

You made history on March 4, proudly showing America that Texas is Clinton Country, with 1.43 million supporters all across the Lone Star State standing up to make their voices heard.

13. Please note - result of error by Texas Dems, not the campaigns

Update: Turns out that the culprit is the Texas Democratic Party. The delegate lists they forwarded to the campaigns contain many errors on them, so Clinton delegates are receiving Obama mail and Obama delegates are recieving Clinton mail. Indeed, it wouldn't make much sense for Obama to remind Clinton delegates when the conventions are.

The Hillary folks are stupid and they are going to really piss off a bunch of their folks. The state rules are clear. If you show up as an alternate and the entire precinct's set of delegates shows up and signs in, you are not allowed to participate. You will not be credentialed. Period.

But, on this fine conference call (where Bill Clinton got on and, in effect, conceded losses in North Carolina, South Dakota, Montana and Oregon and, to a lesser extent, Indiana) the Clinton people are telling their precinct alternates that they should stick around so that they can can join a pool of folks who might get to go to state. WRONG. What a bunch of maroons.

Well, I'm off to fight to Obama fight at our credentials committee meeting.
