May I say something about McCain? |
|
Edited on Thu Mar-27-08 05:00 PM by Redstone
"League of Democracies?"
What the fuck?
Can you say "Coalition of the Willing?"
Stone me, we are all of us, each and every one, well and truly fucked if that lunatic gets elected.
Think about THAT next time you get ready to post a rabid attack on Senator Clinton / her supporters, or on Senator Obama / his supporters.

|
that I won't mention here, in public?
Take him (yes, I did the research) and add significant amounts of plaque buildup on the brain, and you got yourself McCain, right there.
Kinda like Ronnie Rayguns, only without the handlers to keep his finger off The Button. Difference is, Ronnie would've punched the button thinking he was ringing for a cup of coffee, but McCain would do it just because he was honked off at someone.
Now I'm scared.

We really can't afford to let him traipse into the White House. We really have to come together and stop him. It's like we're all fighting over small crap while Bush III With 40% Bonus Crazy sneaks around us and into office. Not good. We can do better than this.

Romney would have been bad, Ron Paul would have been, er, interesting, Mccain is sort of..meh. I mean. President Huckabee was the really terrifiying possibility.

17. Oh, yeah, Ron Paul would have been "interesting" in a kind of Ross Perot way, I agree. |
|
He, himself, never scared me much, but his fanatic idiots of supporters sure did.
Besides, doesn't the phrase "President Huckabee" just sound, well, WRONG? It resonates like "President Dumfuck Hayseed," doesn't it? (Not to make fun of anyone's name, of course, or to make fun of Southerners, because I lived down there for a while and really did like those folks. And "President Obama, should he get elected, sounds damn good to me, because having a President who doesn't have a whitebread name would indicate to the world that we're not just a whitebread country.)

Thanks for this post.

26. Are they, now? That's frightening to consider, and I don't doubt that it's true. You have |
|
a perspective that VERY few of us have, and that makes me pay attention to what you say much more than I'd pay attention to a lot of other people.
In this case, I dearly hope that you're wrong.
