Rachel Maddow said something about how having a primary for the SuperDelegates NOW rather than have them vote at the end of the primary; would help the Democrats chance against McCain.
How would that work?

Unless it means the "superdelegates" would be called together to vote.
This won't happen. The procedures for the delegates have all been agreed to. THis would be a change in the rules. I don't see it happening.

I don't understand how the timing of the Superdelegate vote would play a big role in our chances against McCain. Even if we held the Superdelegate vote long before the primary's over and people forget about it, I would think that the RNC and the right wing media would have no problem REMINDING the general public about the Superdelegate issue.
