Remember Joe Lieberman?
He used to be a "Democrat". Then he "became" an "independent".

But it's clear that he was nothing other than a conservative operative the entire time - When he had the "D" next to his name and when he didn't.

I think the mounting evidence is beginning to make it abundantly clear that the same thing applies to Hillary Clinton. I would have never considered her a liberal, but a lot of people would have called her "moderate" or "centrist" or something similar.

But with the way she has conducted herself recently, and now with her huge campaign backers blackmailing the party leadership, what we have known all along is exposing itself: She is bought and paid for just like the rest of them.

The majority of congress, both Republican and Democrat, is ruled by the corporate elite. They own about 99% of the Republicans, and perhaps 50% to 60% of the Democrats (via the DLC). With the country divided evenly between Republicans and Democrats, that's all they need to retain power.

I've said this countless times in my time here at DU. There is no point in blindly supporting the Democrats for the sole reason that they call themselves Democrats. Until liberals like Dennis Kucinich make up the majority and the leadership of the party, nothing will change. The word "Democrat" has to become synonymous with "liberal".

As far as I'm concerned, Hillary Clinton is not a Democrat. I always knew it, of course, because she is part of the DLC, and none of them are Democrats. But if one good thing is coming out of this primary, it's that her true colors are being exposed. As every day passes, more and more people are having their eyes opened.

7. That whole accusation of "Hillary hater" tactic that started over a year ago,
and in response to ANY criticism ( reasonable or otherwise) of Sen. Clinton, reminded me EXACTLY of the years of accusations of "Bush hater" lobbed at any criticism of George Bush.

It all just stinks awful bad.

3. Hillary actually was a Republican
in her younger days. Her family was active in the Republican Party. Was it when she met/married Bill that she switched parties? Sorry, I don't remember.

6. Please, God help me, can't you let us forget him, just as a mercy? After all, it's
MY state where the Republican elected him.

All the scandals, all the political corruption we have to be ashamed of in this state, and you remind us about LIEBERMAN?

Please, PLEASE let us forget, if you have a merciful bone in your body.
