is coming true. I'm still stupefied her campign didn't realize how destructive that kitchen sink strategy was. It still doesn't realize it.

20. Oh, I think they knew the tradeoffs
The thing is that the risks were mostly to US, not to Hillary. If screwed things fouled up enough, she still has her Senate job and could run again in 4 years. What's wrong with that? That's a dandy outcome -- if you are Hillary.

The rest of us are screwed.

11. That's one of the five polls reported in your link
The average of the five is Obama 44.8%, Clinton 42.8%.

She is leading in two, he is leading in two and one is tied.

13. People don't like liars much. Imagine - A story of Hillary and the Cherry Tree?
Edited on Thu Mar-27-08 07:46 PM by alphafemale
Hillary found holding the ax...standing next to the downed tree.

Hillary! Why did you chop down this tree?

I didn't chop down the tree! What on earth could possibly make you think I had chopped down the tree? You must hate little girls. That's the only possible explanation for your irrational accusations. You're a SEXIST!

Hillary, you are still holding the ax and standing next to the tree.

I used the ax to scare off that little black boy. He's the one who really chopped down the tree.
(whispers...he's a Muslim you know.)

Hillary, there are still splinters sticking to the ax you are holding.

That's because the black boy, who remember, is a MUSLIM, picked up the tree after he cut it down and started swinging it at me. I had to use the ax to defend myself.

Hillary...c'mon now..

What are you a SEXIST??? A girl can't defend herself against a brute!!??? We should just lay down and be raped by black, Muslim, tree-cutting thugs??!!!!

Sigh...I give up.

YESSSS!!! I WIN AGAIN!!!

Edit 'cause I still cwud. :D

16. Going negative can be effective, but it does not increase one's own vote...it depresses the other's
In a best case scenario for Hillary, she would tear down Obama to her level or below....

It doesn't appear to be working. Even after Ferrarro and Wright, the one-two race issue card being played, Obama has barely slipped.

Hillary has been negative more or less since a couple of weeks before Iowa. She called Obama "irresponsible and frankly naive" way back last July!

I don't know what the recent polls mean. It might mean that people are just fed up with Hillary's negativity and don't see her as a viable candidate anymore.

No use arguing about it. If this is true, future polls will reinforce this....

19. As long as she keeps playing
Her dirty tricks and doing all she can to make sure that if she doesn't get the nomination Obama will be so trashed by her that McCain will win, those numbers will keep going down!

She is destroying her future in the party, and if she can't see that, she is really in need of help! Play fair, discuss the issues, and may the best person win! Get in the gutter and use throw the "kitchen sink" at a member of your own party, give the repugs ammo for the general, say that McCain is better than Obama, and she deserves what she gets!
