10 Top Reasons McCain Will Never Be Elected President
10. His uncontrollable temper.

9. His health

8. His background

7. social conservatives hate him

6. money- or rather the lack thereof

5. He can't debate worth shit

4. The economy

3. Iraq

2. The economy

1. Iraq

Ok, I stretched it, but you get the idea. I don't give a shit what the polls say now. Once the dems have a candidate, things will change-
for the reasons listed. Iraq is imploding in a major way and the economy is going to be in a lot worse shape in a few short months. And repukes are going to reap the blame for the lions share of it. In addition, I strongly suspect that there will be a lot more information coming out that will further damage bush and repubs. McCain can't distance himself from it no matter how hard he tries. So there's good news and bad news. The good news is that in that environment McCain can't be elected. The bad news is that's a scary bad environment for the new dem president to have to deal with.

13. Nice.
You might want to slow it down a little to match the synaptic speed of the people you're trying to reach.

4. I wonder if he'll have trouble finding a running mate
Some Repubs might not want to deal with him or take 2nd place to him - they might rather go for 2012 or 2016.

9. I've wondered that too
though I'm certain there are enough ambitious right wing pukes who will take the offer. And I'm betting he'll choose a real wingnut.

6. And torture! he flip-flopped on torture which astounded me.
I had a confusing exchange on DU with someone because I was sick for a few days and hadn't heard about his vote on the torture issue - I had always thought being anti-torture was a redeeming quality for him.

10. I honestly thought he could've legitimately won in '00.
But the BFEE had other ideas on who should lead the party. Now, McCain's a joke. He's getting his run because just like Bob Dole he's been a good and faithful foot soldier for the gop. The Dems just need to tie * to everything McCain does. You've seen the gop distancing themselves from * for a long time. But Dems need to make * the millstone around McCain's neck. Don't let the public forget who's been in charge for 2 terms. Sure as hell * won't be anywhere near Minneapolis come convention time.

11. We did stupid for 8 years
I don't think we need to do it again. McCain doesn't not strike me as being particularly bright. Do we really want to do "not particularly bright" again?

I don't think so.

Look, the best this guy could do on his foreign policy speech was a rehash of a speech from 6 years ago. Enough of lazy, disengaged warmongers.

16. How about his intelligence?
He's not the brightest bulb in the box. He ranked 894 out of 899 in his Naval Academy Class!

LOL! Can you imagine a class rank like this among Democrats? Give me a break...the guy is s-t-u-p-i-d!!!! End of story!

Link for class rank: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McCain

If you don't believe this link, Google--you'll find many more stating the obvious--the guy was at the BOTTOM of his class!

17. Looks like crap on teevee.
As much as I hate it, television appearance does matter, and both HRC and BO look ten times better than McCain on teevee.

Oh, and then there's this picture:

That ought to seal the deal.

Don't know much 'bout the economy
Don't know much about geography
Couldn't tell the diff between Shiite 'n Sunni
But if yer a 19 Percenter, then you'll vote for me!

Apologies to Sam and DU. :-)
