The Clintons and their followers ...
represent all thats bad in the democratic party today .
They are the reason why :

- There were no real opposition from the democratic party to the plans to go to war in Iraq and many "key" democrats even went along
with the administration .

- The Congress can do fairly little to end the war cos they cant even rally within the party around some bold ideas .

- Both parties are looking more and more alike

- The democratic party has adopted the rhetoric and the tactics of the GOP "establishment" .

... and so on

That is why this election is so critical . Defeating them will be a huge step toward reclaiming the soul of the party and making it the people's party again.

how many of you real democrats have been outraged with this things throughout the Bush years ? how many of you demonstrated in the streets ahead of the Iraq war, cos at that time EVEN YOU knew it was a dreadful mistake ?

so how can you now accept beeing deceived by someone who tells you she lied because she was " sleep deprived" or " if she knew then what she knows now she wouldnt have voted to go to Iraq " . doesnt that sound familiar ??

STAND FOR CHANGE IF YOU'RE A GENUINE DEMOCRAT

12. Rove's 'plan' was to have his candidate hover 'above the fray'...
...while his supporters engaged in a blanket party on his rivals....sound familiar? Obama and his supporters have been doing it for months.

"Rove already was the acknowledged master of the third-party surrogate slur. As he was rebuilding the Republican Party in Texas, Rove developed a template for smearing opponents. The goal was to have his candidates hover above the fray while urging their opponents to concentrate on issues, thereby constantly putting them in a position of having to play defense and deny unfounded accusations. Eventually, the Rove client, according to the script, would step out to demand an end to the ugliness. Of course, Rove wrote the narrative of these plans in such a way that calling for a truce would not occur until the damage had already been done to his opposition."

2. Do you mean 'surrogates' or followers
The charge against her followers is completely unfounded.

They are simply being loyal and cannot help the position their candidate has put them in.

13. I mean surrogates, sorry
I meant the "establishment" people within the party that think they must stay loyal to them.

3. This Clinton supporter
has been outraged for years, and protested the Iraq war.

Personally, I think the hatefulness, race-baiting and intolerance of dissent displayed by Obama's supporters represent the worst of the party.

22. so do I.
His idea of "Uniting Us" is along the same lines as bush's "You're either with us or against us" and has had the same effect.

17. you didnt get it
many have turned their back on the democratic party because of their lack of real opposition in the last years . They might not agree with me that it is the Clintons fault but they do agree that the party must change.

8. From the choir comes the reply
Thank you for preachin to us.

You are absolutely correct. We've moved so close to one party rule that for the most part the Democratic party barely exists as opposition.

And the clintons are a big part of why that has happened.
