I was a huge Edwards supporter (well, after letting my heart go for a Kucinich ride).

But you echo my very thoughts this morning.

Obama was a complete unknown to me and I pretty much ignored him as I was convinced that Edwards was the sure-win and second-best-policied Dem. But Obama is something quite new. Something unexpected to us all I think. "Losing" with Kucinich and Edwards is starting to seem to not matter.

This is exciting and surprising even to me - who hasn't been even the tiniest bit surprised in 25 years (filled with dread, foreboding and shame for my fellow countrymen, yes. Excited? No.)
