A big win for Obama in NC will virtually cancel out a Clinton win in PA |
|
Obams is leading in NC 49% O to 39% C not quite as many delegates but would see her off. http://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2008/Pres/Maps/Mar28.html#news

1. For Clinton, a big win is no less than 65% of the vote |
|
in ALL the remaining contests, not just PA.

7. Mr guesses: either in hopes of harassing Obama into giving her a VP slot |
|
Edited on Fri Mar-28-08 11:47 AM by rocknation
or because she's secretly cut some kind of deal with the superdelegates (though, as I've said, that route won't work unless she can present some very convincing numbers). Also, keep in mind that where she goes, the DLC follows.

|
How will she do in the upcoming debate I wonder?

9. After that NAFTA trick just before Super Tuesday II, I wouldn't be surprised. |

But at least we'll be expecting it.

11. The best form of defense for Obama is attack! |
|
experience seems to be a key thing for voters who go to clinton especially the elderly. However, I think it is important to keep hammering at her 'exaggerated' experience (lies). I think there is a long llist of lies including NAFTA.

Obama's not going to wind up getting blown out in Pa.

6. Here in NC I have seen lots of Obama yard signs |
|
but have yet to see my first Hillary or even my first McCain yard sign. Not sure what significance, if any, can be attributed to this, but it has been my personal observation. I live in Charlotte though which generally trends more blue than the rest of the state.

13. With all due respect to Charlotte, several other parts of NC are as blue or bluer. |
|
Here in the Triangle there is enormous support for Obama. I have seen a few Hillary yard signs but they've been up for a long time.
I think that Obama will do very well here in NC. I hope that Hillary concedes soon. This is tearing up our party.

10. Obama is going to win PA by 2-3% |
|
Clinton's poll numbers will start slipping in April. She will go completely negative as Obama hammers her on her actual full support for NAFTA. The Clinton tax returns will slam them too. She's out of money and her GOTV efforts take money to do... Obama is loaded for bear and will do lots of ads and lots of other support.
She will drop out after being humiliated in PA.

14. I hope that Obama wins in PA and Hillary concedes. That would be the best outcome. |
|
It's time for us all to rally around Obama and get on with defeating the Republicans.

16. As an Obama supporter, I hope so, |
|
but I don't share your optimism. I'd settle for Obama losing by less than 10% at this point. Given Rendell's support of Clinton and the machine he's got there, our guy's got an uphill fight in PA.
But I would LOVE to be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. :)

15. she's campaigning every week here and Chelsea/Carville at YDNC convention 3/29 |
|
they may be able to impress some of our non internet connected and elderly women.
It really sickens me to see that the YDNC is having Carville as a keynote speaker.
Looks like they want to indoctrinate young people who would normally go for Obama.
He's big with young people, and liberals here.
BUT - there are some old time liberals who wish Bill had a third term.
I used to, until there was a choice, and until I saw that it meant losing the congress and having more vicious bickering.
