It's official - I'm supporting Obama

I tried to remain neutral but it's just not happening. I was upset with Obama's comments about Reagan (they were about change under Reagan but not pro-Reagan); however, I cannot get over my disgust of Hillary Clinton smoozing with Richard Mellon Scaife.

Hillary had other options for an interview in Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is nothing more than a glory paper for a millionaire blowhard who tries to be another Heast using his barely read newspaper to promote his right-wing hate. The Tribune is nothing more than another Washington Times and the Tribune's owner, Richard Mellon-Scaife, actually loses money on this paper in order to promote his right-wing agenda.

What's worse is Scaife spent $2.4 million dollars on the 'Arkansas Project' - a pet project to discredit the Clintons back in the early 1990s and hopefully remove the Clintons from the White House. I know it is said to 'Keep your friends close and your enemies closer' but doing an interview at the Pittsburgh Tribune Review is like saying your enemy is some sad sack clown that can barely keep anyone in laughs. Hillary had other options to reach out to Pittsburgh Voters, a city built on its Unions, and that would be the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - a paper that has the largest circulation in the region.

That doesn't mean I won't support Hillary if she gets the nomination. I'm just disappointed that she would schmooze with such sleaze like Richard Mellon Scaife

I was 100% Biden, a few weeks with Edwards and then permamently neutral.

But I am going to try my best to not be disrespectful to Hillary supporters. LostinVa is one of my best friends here at DU and the last thing I would do is to say anything ignorant about Hillary supporters because that means I would be including LostinVa in those harsh words.

I'm disgusted at Hillary but not at her supports or the option of voting for Hillary if she gets the nomination. I would hope that all Obama supporters make that same pledge too
