Poll question: Second choice Candidate |
|
Let's just say for some reason Obama and Hillary would go into the convention with an equal number of pledged delegates, an equal number of popular vote and the supers do what supers should do: represent the will of the people. First let me say, I know this is pretty much mathematically impossible, but for the purpose of this poll, lets say it happened.
Who would you support as a second choice candidate?

What I don't like is the "white man comes to save the day" vibe a rescue candidate would throw out there.
Richardson is inept and awkward.
I gotta go with your dead dog or what the hell, let's break the bank and go with DK.

Democrats can come up with the most outlandish reasons for failing to select the best candidate!

7. But this particular white man COULD save the day! |
|
That's what's most important in the big picture -- not the 'vibe'.
But it won't come to that, I hope. We're all in a big enough tizzy as it is.
PS -- DK's a white guy too, you know.

Seriously. I've already voted for Gore, and for Kerry, for president. I'd do it again. Biden, Richardson, and Edwards were tied for 2nd place with me when there were decent choices on the ballot.
At this point, I'd be thrilled with any of them.
If the dog were living, he'd definitely be in the running, too.

I mean if we do this we might as well throw the election away.
Hillary or Obama should be the nominee. No one else. They are the two who have gotten people to vote for them.
