The ONE rationale is Hillary needs keep in the race in the unlikely event Obama implodes due to some unforeseen scandal.

It just occurred to me, she could just as easily suspend her race and remain in the wings should that happen.

2. Agreed, but we all know that a suspended campaign is essentialy a withdrawal from the race.

I'd love it if she withdrew, but a "suspension" is not a viable way to put one's campaign on hold in case something happens.
