4. It appears to me that the "let it sink" effort to clean up this board has been

an epic failure. I had a fleeing moment a few days ago, when it was actually working and there were INTELLIGENT posts apparent; when the nastiest of the Hillary supporters had vowed to "strike" ( yay), that we might have a semi-decent place to discuss this national primary season. Of course, we had to suffer through the whole scenario they created to create Pity about a "mass ignore" list and telling us what victims they were, blah blah.

But, by the next morning, the Hillary supporters had decided to stay ( for the largest part) and it seems a new influx of "newbies hating Obama" had taken up residence and started posting. And when I saw a post about a white woman who told the blacks she'd voted them their civil rights and over a hundred flaming responses, and when a thread referred to "You Barry's People", and more Wright bullshit kept getting kicked to the top..along with slurs on Obama, Richardson and anyone who supports him.

I gave up. This forum is a cesspool not even rivaled by Free Republic. No one can change it but the people who post here. Don't expect the Trolls to change. Bad behavior won't be changed by reinforcing (responding) to it. And don't expect the other side to change THEIR behavior until the moderators make them.. which doesn't look like its happening any time soon.

Why don't you all get together and form a group that passes around lists of people who identified as not singing "I love Obama" on command, tell people who have been here for years that they won't be around much longer, start a "let it sink" campaign on any posts that don't sing Obama's praises or that do say anything positive about Hillary in particular or any other candidate in general because after all you just don't want to see it, call anyone who prefers another candidate a troll or a freeper, and call for an early end to the election. Oh wait. You already did all of that.
