Ras: Obama 48 (+2), Clinton 42 (-2)...Clinton is Tanking.
Obama is really opening up a lead here and he has continued to gain against McCain, gaining two more points against McCain down five now...While Hillary is losing by 11: McCain 48 Obama 43, McCain 51 Clinton 40.

Favorability is now Obama 50-48, Clinton 42-56, McCain 53-44

Clinton is Tanking

1. I'd love to believe this
but these polls are mercurial at best.

Its a trend that is evident in Gallup/Pew/NBC as well.

5. actually, this has been a steady trend
in Galllup and Ras for a week now. She does indeed appear to be fading in the national polls, and her unfavorables are really disturbing.

6. The Matchups is really disturbing too
Obama bottomed out at -10 and has been climbing ever since. Now she is down to -11.

7. So what if Obama loses PA
If the media simply reports the event and doesn't turn it into the biggest event since the crucifixion of Christ, Obama will win NC by 20 2 weeks later.

8. The Media story of PA heavily favors Obama, where they believe she has to win big.

11. Let's keep the narrative that way
because I honestly do not believe he has the demographics to pull out a shocker in PA--I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am.

Keep it within 10%, though, and it will change the narrative to "Why didn't she blow him out?"

10. He/she is hoping for a 65-35 or 70/30 Clinton PA win
Edited on Sat Mar-29-08 10:11 AM by Tropics_Dude83
Which he/she thinks will happen and change the narrative judging by his/her post. He/she's referring to mid April as April 22 is the date of the primary.

12. LOL!!! for some of you hillbots
up is down and white is black. Quite the Orwellian world you inhabit. Poor things, you're dear hilly is in a world of trouble. Want to watch something shrink, dear? Watch hilly's numbers in PA. She'll still win it but not by more than 10 and then she gets to go get hammered in NC. Looking forward to it.

22. Wow, the HRC camp now has its own Greek chorus!
I keep hearing these ambiguous tidings about Obama, which never seem to come to pass. These ae basically vague statements that are based on absolutely nothing.

Why don't you post something that actually has some substance, so we can discuss it? This is a discussion board, not a Phantom Prognostications board.

"Ominous tidings await yoooooooooooou...

4. The Gallup poll wasn't that far off from this one. Looking good.
Gaining in favorability rating, too:

Looking ahead to the General Election in November, John McCain now enjoys a bigger lead when matched against Hillary Clinton rather than Barack Obama. McCain leads Barack Obama 48% to 43% and leads Hillary Clinton 51% to 40%. McCain is now viewed favorably by 53% of voters nationwide and unfavorably by 44%. Obama’s reviews are 50% favorable and 48% unfavorable. For Clinton, those numbers are 42% favorable, 56% unfavorable. Today is the first time Obama’s favorables have returned to the 50% level since his former Pastor became news.

18. No wonder the MSM started talking about Wright again...Obama
is regaining his lead and better now. Or maybe it's because people are realizing the slim chance of her getting the nomination.

19. Before I went to sleep, I was watching Faux, and Hannity was going full out on Rev. Wright
Than I fell asleep and had Wright in my dreams. I realized why...because Faux was on in the background and it was influencing my dreams LOL.

23. It's significantly higher.
This is because she is loathed by a significant portion of the electorate. Always was. Always will be. And loathed people have a nagging tendency to lose elections.
