Team Clinton "Dirty Tricks" in Texas!
(The Obama delegate) got there to discover a backroom deal had already been cut by Democratic Party leaders in the county, presumably, to set up the rules committees 50/50 Clinton/Obama people, but all the committee chairs are Clinton people.

Clinton’s campaign has sent a bunch of “at large” delegates to the Sen. 26 caucus to hang out in the event someone doesn’t show up at the right time, so they can step in as delegates. (The Obama delegate) is not certain if the Obama folks are doing the same thing, but she said she had not heard of this practice from the folks she’s dealing with on the Obama side.

Somehow, none of the Obama delegates from our precinct are listed on the rolls, so they have all been categorized as provisional for the caucus. She’s not certain if the Clinton delegates from our precinct suffered the same fate. She said this is strange because someone on the Obama side said they saw all the names entered onto the rolls.

In Senate District 19, she was told, the Clinton people called a meeting to set up rules for the caucus at an appointed time, but then showed up early. When the Obama people showed up at the appointed time, the Clinton people adjourned the meeting. (The Obama delegate) said it turned into somewhat of a racial thing since most of the Clinton people were Hispanic and most of the Obama people were black.

She said it’s truly smoke-filled backroom politics, with a lot of confusion for those who aren’t invited into the backroom. She got there early this morning and it’s expected to last until 8 pm or so tonight. If the delegates aren’t in place at the precise moment to cast their votes, too bad. The Ceasar Chavez march is today, so the Clinton people managed to get an adjournment of the caucus until the march is over, so they can go to the march. Let’s hope that wasn’t a ploy.

So who's trying to disenfranchise voters?

11. You are right. But he was posting an anonymous claim made to someone
else anonymous, if I read this correctly.

People say crazy things and if they won't put their name behind it, you have to question the motivation.

I should have worded it better.

4. Thankfully the Clinton's dirty tricks are all being recorded
They can't win and they aren't helping themselves one bit.
Certainly they are running one of the most pathetic and
dishonest campaigns ever. They deserve every loss they gotten.

8. This web site
makes a lot of claims that it can't back up, always anti-Clinton. They may be legit, but so far, they're the only source reporting these wild, unsubstantiated rumors.

Obama Files a Nevada Complaint

http://www.time-blog.com/swampland/2008/01/obama_files_a_nevada_complaint.html

I won't insert any what-happens-in-Vegas jokes here, but the Barack Obama campaign is not letting go of its accusations that Hillary Clinton's campaign engaged in voter suppression last Saturday in Nevada.

Obama lawyer Bob Bauer has now put forward the contentions in a formal complaint to the Nevada Democratic Party, in which he says the Clinton campaign closed voter registration and shut the doors to some of the caucuses at 11:30 a.m. and earlier, which was a half-hour or more before they were supposed to under caucus rules.

While stipulating that the Obama campaign does not intend to challenge the outcome on a precinct level, Bauer asks for an investigation and writes:

These reports suggest the possibility of activity conducted in violation of Party rules and the rights of voters—activity that, as the volume and distribution of those complaints indicate, may have been planned and coordinated with the willful intention to distort the process in the favor of one candidate, Senator Clinton. A sheet of instructions provided by the Clinton campaign to its precinct works captures its program for the Caucus: "It's not illegal unless they tell you so."

This certainly suggests that, for the Clinton campaign, the operative standard of conduct was, simply and only, what it could get away with. On the day of the Caucus, we received by phone reports of misconduct, violations of the rules and irregularities, in the hundreds. Since that time, well over a thousand more accounts have been sent to us.

.............

:argh: And HRCs numbers keep going down - down - down! Spread this around!!!!!

Disgusting - Scorched earth - kitchen sink??? Hell no - this is pure dirty politics!!!
