1. I would return to New York to live, re-register as a Democrat, and
work tirelessly to support another Democratic candidate for that office, including Gov. Paterson, for example.

You can hole up at our place if ya need to Crusoe. We'll start a "anyone but Hillary for Governor" group or PAC. I can make TV commercials.

21. I bet you know what you're doing, too. I can think of a lot of great
Democrats to be Governor of your state -- I'm pretty homesick for it, actually -- and my list begins with the damned incumbent. Hell -- he's only been in office 3 weeks and the Clinton thunderhead gathers over the picnic.

I've really had quite enough of the Clintons.

2. Wouldn't she have to beat Paterson in a primary battle?

20. That karma is a boomerang that rolls right back around at its tosser
once Mrs. "I'm Your Girl" Clinton drops out of the race.

Wear a helmet.

8. But in order for the election to occur...
Edited on Sat Mar-29-08 01:16 PM by 4themind
Patterson would have to step down/resign before the november special election(and I haven't read much that talks about the likely hood of this happening). If he had to step down, under those circumstances, I don't think he would want to run again this year(perhaps after the term is up for the winner of special election winner)
EDIT: sorry this was supposed to be a reply to the "Wouldn't she have to beat Paterson in a primary battle?" question

9. Isn't it sad that we have to bribe a losing candidate with elected office to get her to drop out?
What happened to the old tradition of actually quitting after you've lost an election? I guess that doesn't apply to Queen Hillary.

14. If I were her I would hold out for the Supreme Court and I would demand
that Bill get the Ambassadorship to the UN. Those jobs suit them both better.

18. If Alter was much more in Obama's tank,
he would have to write his column from Obama's upper digestive tract!!!
Why doesn't Newsweek just come out, along with MSNBC, and endorse the guy already!!!!!!!!!

19. Good point. I don't understand why everyone hasn't endorsed Obama yet.
Talk about your no-lose proposition -- the guy's already locked up the nomination. Jump on the train before it leaves the station.
