Some HUGE Obama areas yet to report in Texas ...
Edited on Sat Mar-29-08 07:58 PM by Alhena
Tarrant County SD 10 has 312 delegates and went 64-35% Obama at the precinct caucus.
Dallas County SD 23 has 373 delegates and went 80-19% Obama at the precinct caucus.
Dallas County SD 16 has 255 delegates and went 60-39% Obama at the precinct caucus.
Harris County SD 7 has 196 delegates and went 60-39% Obama at the precinct caucus.
Collin County SD 8 has 163 delegates and went 63-38% Obama at the precinct caucus.

On the Hillary side:

El Paso county SD 29 has 175 delegates and went 74-25% Hillary at the precinct caucus.

So it looks like the big areas remaining favor Obama strongly- I'm sure Hillary does better in the smaller districts.

7. My goodness! How long do they make you caucus????
No wonder this is such a tough battle. Didn't you start early this morning? I'm shocked that it takes so much effort to win the vote of a Texan!

(How in the world did our country end up with Dubya????? Is the caucus system for democrats only? If not, couldn't you all have gotten rid of Dubya much sooner? Certainly HE wouldn't have lasted long at a caucus if they go on all day!)

26. No doubt the "hero of Tusla"

No doubt the hero of Tusla had an effect on some of her delegates with her little stories. I'm sure that being from Texas, they are all familiar with effusive preachers.

17. 36% is percent of delegates filled. 28.5% is percent of precincts called in.
Hillary comes 1st, then Obama, then % of delegates, then % of precints. :)

8. So, If Obama WINS Texas
will the news readers of the MSM tell America that Hillary DID NOT WIN TEXAS?

then what will Bill say? he said she HAD to win Texas and the corrupt press was all too happy to declare her the winner..

Now, will they backtrack?

10. Hidalgo County is fair size and will be big for Clinton but
what you say is true. Denton, Jefferson and Williamson are good sized and will likely go Obama as well

23. And what do those counties all have in common....
Edited on Sat Mar-29-08 09:09 PM by rainbow4321
They are in the geographic area that her TX camp thumbed their collective noses at with their "Hillary will take South TX and this will let her WIN the state".

If I had a penny for all the HRC camp quotes in the local Dallas print media that had them gushing about HRC South TX support would put TX in her win column...now North Texans get to thumb their collective noses right back at her.

I am NOT dissing S TX Dems...just HRC's people cocky-take-everything for granted 'tude prior to TX primary night.
