Wisconsin poll Obama: 44 McCain: 43; McCain 50 Clinton 38 |
|
Edited on Sat Mar-29-08 09:25 PM by book_worm
Here in the Badger State a new poll shows a tight contest between Barack Obama and John McCain with Obama with a slight edge 44% to 43%. If the Dem nominee is Hillary Clinton--McCain gains a double digit advantage: 50-38. This comes off a poll of Oregon showing Obama leading McCain 48-42, but Clinton losing to McCain 46-40. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/election_2008_electoral_college_update

7. I doubt it,, remember 22% of Clinton voters said they would vote for McCain.. if we can get most of |
|
them to come to their senses Obama's number will jump quickly.
This poll reflects both Clintons and McCain attacking him. (with a little help from Shrub too)

8. Yep. That's pretty much what I figured for the Midwest. |
|
Look for this to be repeated in Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, etc.
Hillary cannot beat McCain in the Midwest.

11. Wisconsin hasn't went red for a while |
|
But the last few elections, our margins of victory have been very small. It's a swing state and it's also a state we must carry if we want to win the election.
