Once again, I will remind folks that we (Texas Dems) are |
|
under no obligation to report anything to anyone today. The information you are getting is at the discretion of those involved. The official and complete results will (hopefully) be available next week some time. Again I will remind you that any delegate can change his/her mind at any time in this process.

2. You are very welcome. I was on the nomination committee and |
|
led the group and we had a delegate who had changed from Hillary to Obama since the beginning of the process on that very committee.

3. Aren't the at-large delegates chosen in a way |
|
Which attempts to restore things back to the original precinct convention percentages? I realize there is a need to balance the selection per other criteria, but I thought that maintaining the convention balance was one of them.
Only asking as the at-large process was a bit confusing and seemed geared towards minimizing the effects where one side gained a delegate or two at the expense of another (either by one side not having all delegates/alternates show up or switches).

6. Yes you are correct - that's what happened in SD25 |
|
Obama did much better in the caucus vote than in the sign-in process. In other words people who supported Clinton signed-in and left or did not stay long enough to vote in their PCT caucuses. So Obama picked up more votes through the PCT caucus process. The 14 at large delegates in SD 25 went primarily to Clinton 8-6 to help balance her loss of people since the sign-in process.
But Obama people also showed up in droves so, we didn't lose them all because he did really good in the sign-ins too.
SD25-Travis results: Clinton 40 delegates Obama 70 delegates = Total 110

5. guess Democratic Texans didn't take kindly to the meddling by the Rush |
|
Repubs on March 4th. Anyone who doesn't question the results of the March 4th primary vote is dishonest. WJC even predicted that they'd get killed in the caucus, and I guess that's because the Pukes who came out to vote in the primary, couldn't be bothered to support her in the caucuses?
