Cnn does a 180 on Wright portrays him in good light
Rick Sanchez did a story earlier tonight Wright. It showed him smiling, preaching as a guest Friday of Pastor Michael Pfleger. Sanchez had on Shelly Wynter, John Sugg and Neal Boortz. Wynter who is a conservative radio host and Sugg both agreed the story was overblown to the max, and they knew it didn't have serious legs since the only ones pushing the story was people who would never vote for anyone with a D next to their name. The only fly in the ointment was Boortz. the only thing he could say is that Obama must of heard other things over 20 yrs. Wynter pointed out it was weak argument since you could hear alot of stuff from any preacher over 20 years, but you should talk about all the good Wright and his church have done over the years. ......I checked out on youtube how many positive related videos there are on Wright and his former church now. The tide has turned 180 and the truth of the church is going to come out, not just the soundbites.

34. If we were responding, it's likely a bunch of other people were, too.
On the other hand, maybe CNN is trying to find a new angle to a story that got them viewers. That's just as possible.

7. the truth of the church will come out? The story is widespread
throughout this country. If you believe obama is not being hurt by this nationwide then you need to do some research and see. A story like this, especially the things wright said is now buried deep in the minds of folks nationwide.

Maybe a Senator or two that supports HRC will come out Monday and ask Obama to drop out of the campaign.I would if I were a Senator, but I am not, but I was right throughout 07 writing about this pastor and his anti white, anti jew and anti israel views, but all I got was being slurred as a bigot and a racist.....

14. Here we go again...
Please, Wright is not anti-Jewish... he made a statement about what is happening to Palestinian civilians being killed by the Israeli military. That is not an anti-Jewish statement... it is a humanitarian statement... and anyone who doesn't understand that just needs to step the f*** to the side and get out of the way. Ok? This is not an anti-semetic issue, and I think the Obama campaign is smart and is not going to take this type of race bait. People who don't want a fair world where all people's lives have the same value, white, black, Arab, Jewish, Palestian, PLEASE step the f*** out of the way before we run you over.

McCain will have his own problems in November. He's not squeeky clean... in fact one of his guys has ties to self-proclaimed Messiah Reverend Moon.
http://www.veoh.com/videos/v6528297a9ppTgRm

Now's there's a pastor story to sink your teeth into.

Why doesn't the media go ask why so many right-winger politicians(Bush 41, Shrub, Falwell) have had public ties to a guy who proclaims himself the Messiah of the World? Wright has NOTHING on this guy.

So go away Obama haters.

I do believe that you spent 07 writing about this, but that doesn't mean that anyone who is not a hardcore member of Likud is anti-Israel.

And I hate to break it to you, but Obama is leading in the latest Gallup poll by +8. He climbed. Clinton slipped (or ducked).

It was not my intention to offend, I hope you know that. I'm glad the U.S. has protected Israel, my point is, we shouldn't ignore the things they do that are wrong. It doesn't reflect on the Jewish people, it reflects on their leadership. The Jewish people are not to be blamed. Just like the American people shouldn't be blamed for Bush's atrocities.

35. Extreme Zionism vs. being Jewish
Edited on Sun Mar-30-08 04:58 PM by LukeSkywalker
Jewish people have brought the world a ton of great things... don't even really need to name off all of the Jewish writers, scientists, filmmakers, etc. that have pretty much defined what we as Americans are today... and then of course there is our Judeo-Christian religious background. The world owes Jewish people alot... BUT, when it comes to some pretty extremist Zionists who attack anyone who does not agree with Pro-Zionism... or who for some reason cannot see Palestinians as people just like themselves, that is an entirely different matter... and where I draw the line on my support.... I generally feel the U.S. should support Israel but NOT Zionism.... Zionism and Jewishness are two different things in my mind. Just like being American and being a Right-Wing Extremist are two different things. Judaism is the father of a lot of really great things in this world... extreme Zionism is the Crazy Uncle of the Jewish experience.
