Dear Mr. Russert:

As you know, it only took until the Friday after the Texas Primary to realize that Barack Obama and not Hillary Clinton was the over-all winner (with the most delegates) in that Primary. Weeks later Clinton supporters, and most of you (yes, even on MSNBC) are still referring to Clinton's "Smashing Victories" in Ohio and Texas. As of late Saturday night/early Sunday morning March29/30, it can now be stated, Factually, that Barack Obama was indeed the "Smashing" winner of the Texas Primary. With more than 3/4 of the delegates counted at the Texas Democratic State Convention, Mr. Obama leads 56% to Clinton's 43%. This Texas Democratic Convention is electing their delegates to the Democratic National Convention from both the popular vote totals and the Caucus totals from the Texas Primary Tuesday. To somehow bury this actual result on the theoretical back page of your news cast would truly be a dis-service not only to Mr. Obama, but to all Democrats across the land and all of the United States citizens. This is not just a mere percentage point or two change, this is a final decisive representation of the will of the voters in Texas. And to continue for even another nano-second with the myth or fantasy that Mrs. Clinton won Texas would show a lack of integrity on the part of your news department and that of the other networks as well. I truly hope this email doesn't come across as an angry diatribe against you personally or against MSNBC/NBC. Truth be told if it weren't for Keith, Chris, yourself, et al, we'd never hear ANY truth during this campaign. But, we feel very strongly that since almost all of Clinton's supporters including her husband Bill, said she needed decisive victories in BOTH Texas and Ohio to justify continuing on, and she didn't get them, (in fact Texas is a decisive defeat), this IS the time for her to step aside. And should she or any of her supporters continue to state that they won Texas in any way, shape, or form, they should be branded immediately by all the networks as Bold Faced Liars. They did not win Texas!
Sincerely,

2. and she did not "win" Nevada or NH either
She TIED in NH and Obama got more delegates than she did in NV..

Using popular vote in a DELEGATE ONLY primary-caucus is disingenuous..

3. Hillary DID win the Texas primary
Much like Nevada though, Obama won the overall delegate count as tonights totals were from the caucus half of Texas.

Technically, they are right when they say that she won the Texas primary, but by delegate totals, Obama won both Nevada and Texas.

5. that's not true..
the Texas Primary was 2/3 popular vote and 1/3 caucus. The State Convention today is made up of ALL of those Delegates, to decide who will be sent to the National Convention.

8. okey dokey...
actually I had a little lesson in Texas Presidential voting today from my husband. He lost me when he said the delegates from the 'Primary/Caucus' were not actually people, but were turned into people by the Texas Democratic Convention.

6. Don't forget that Texas actually has one more caucus convention to go
I think it is June4th in Austin, so things could change yet again. I'm rooting for more O's and fewer C's than today and tomorrow's conventions.

9. Just a little correction -
The conventions we held today were the county - and in the case of big counties with more than one state Senate district in them, Senate district conventions.

These conventions chose delegates to go to the state convention in Austin in June.

So there's one more step, but the outcome is now pretty well known.

12. 100,000 more people voted for Clinton than Obama in Texas (counting each vote once). Continue whinin
because no one is listening (especially in the MSM).

13. lol
It's a hybrid system, and during a primary, it's the delegates that count....so continue the Faux outrage.

Check the Texas Newspapers, apparently they know who won their state.

Delegates represent the will of the collective people of a state.

Just like electoral votes represent the will of the people.
