I understand all the history, but believe me if you are for HRC or Barack you want this man in your corner than against us so let's ry to be positive about the guy. Barack's America is about forgiveness and moving forward fast. He seems to be open up to who we are as a party and for me that is a great sign.

1. If President Obama is saying I should forgive my enemies, he can go fuck himself.
I will, however, consider not defiling Scaife's grave.

No promises.

17. It's not Obama.
Hadn't you heard that Senator Clinton has wooed Scaife? Not that it really matters who is asking for reconciliation here, Scaife is not one of the good guys.

4. It's very self-defeating to push him away not saying I agree with all that happened but..
Edited on Sun Mar-30-08 06:53 AM by cooolandrew
..nothing will get solved if we can't forgive and forget. It appears HRC has. I've read about this guy I think there is room for him to at least give us sympathetic ear than be our arch enemy. We need not be his best friend but at least give him benefit of the doubt for now. Rea the book blinded by the right, that will probably give you some understanding what I mean.

6. it's not all about Bill and Hillary
he was an asshole to Teresa Heinz Kerry and others also.

and Bill and Hillary always seem to become friends with the wingnuts i defended them against while being nasty to people like BIll Richardson.

their friendship with Scaife makes me regret defending them against him and his type.

7. I think attacking the rich has moved the 2 worlds further apart wiser we are more empathetic I feel.
Edited on Sun Mar-30-08 07:02 AM by cooolandrew
I mean put yourself in a rich man's shoes and poor folk blame you for everything what would be the instictive reaction. We should blame policy blame corruption but blaming the rich has been our worst strategy. They have vast power and the plain simple fact is you achieve more with milk and honey than salt and vinegar.

14. What are you talking about
I believe the paper endorsed McCain and Obama. He went after Clinton42 many, many times because he is a for-realright wing neocon. He is not to be trusted. UGH.

15. Living in SW PA, where Scaife owns every newspaper here..
but two (The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Uniontown Herald Standard), he is a piece of garbage. He recently bought all of the small town papers here, including ours. He refuses to ever put a Democrat's picture on the front page of his papers. When Gore was running, he told his reporters Al Gore's picture could only appear past page 3 and on the bottom half of the page and no larger than 3" by 3". He did the same with Kerry. We hate him.
