Tucker Carlson doesn't understand anything about race. |
|
Edited on Sun Mar-30-08 11:42 AM by BklynChick
He said that there was a contradiction in Obama's speech. On one hand, Obama says he understands white people's individual anger about affirmative action. On the other hand, according to Obama, he endorses affirmative action in the speech a few minutes later. And this is a contradiction. Why are they mutually exclusive? What Obama was trying to say, and Tucker is too stupid to understand it, is that of course there is a need for affirmative action; at the same time, white people, especially working class whites who don't feel like they've had much privilege, would resent it.
Why do I ever listen to this guy?

What use is he? We don't need to motivate those who already feel begrudged.

that dirty word to us Jews, quotas.
Is that real enough for you or do you need historical context? After all, Asians and Hispanics are also not in this Oreo thing.

whatever promotes Tucker.... whether he believes it or not is moot. his judgment should be that he is shameless Whore for White House Fascist Corporatist. just because others think he is a nice family guy.. off the set is no reason to cut him any slack
