Hillary's new friend Scaife's paper on Al Gore today: "less credibility than a cartoon character."

Other posts have referenced Richard Mellon Scaife's effusive praise today for Hillary Clinton:

The Tribune-Review has had lots of charming editorials over the years, and continues today. From the "Sunday Pops" section of their op-ed page, they share their respect for Al Gore with their readers. Nice friend you have there, Hillary:

"Former Vice President Al Gore says on tonight's "60 Minutes" that those who doubt man's role in global warming are akin to those who once thought the Earth was flat or think the moon landings were staged. Of course, the world should take Internet inventor Al Gore, the fella with a serious "sigh" problem, about as seriously as it would Professor Ludwig von Drake, the nutty professor from Disney's Donald Duck cartoons. It's pretty difficult to have less credibility than a cartoon character, but Gore pulls it off."

1. I am just amused that any HRC supporter really believes that her right wing support....
....is really on her side. IF she were to get the nomination, they will turn on her so fast she'll never know what hit her.

15. Maybe Scaife *is* on her side, and this is the beginning of
"Al Gore doesn't matter"

because someone thinks he might be about to endorse Obama.

20. BushInc loved the 90s as they marched towards fascism, covered up illegal operations while
and did so under the cover of the BIG FIGHT with the Clintons.

The 90s attacks on the Clintons helped obscure the coverups throughout the 90s that allowed the return of Bush in 2000.

Dog and pony show for both bases while fascism pressed forward.

4. Scaife knows the best way to get McCain in is to support Hillary.
They are using each other to further their own ends.

12. I have this feeling they all have me on "ignore."
They seem to do that a lot, and together. They don't care much for dissent. But, they miss the fun, too. That's OK, I'll keep swinging at them anyway.

13. Ludwig von Drake
I loved disney cartoons and comics when I was a kid. I think Ludwig was always pretty good in the credibility department. On par with Bill Nye, the Science Guy, anyway.

And Ludwig's credibility is exponentially higher than anyone that's ever served in the GWB White House.

Gore compared to von Drake is not unflattering to Gore, in other words.

18. I'm a fan, too, of Ludwig Von Drake. Loved the comic book, cartoons.
Obviously, though, Scaife's thugs did not mean it as a compliment.
