1. Polls are cotton candy
Until the primary, we have no true idea exactly how many Republicans are going to vote for Obama.

in earnest as of yet and it doesn't help to have Hillarat and Billarat talking up McPain either.

No, its time our party stopped the insanity of allowing Clinton to act like she still has a chance and getting her out of the race ASAP.

We cannot wait for June (as Pelosi talked about today), thats giving McCain an additional 3 months of running uncontested while Hillary continues feeding Republican talking points to the GOP they can use against Obama in the GE.

Whether by a mass Obama SD endorsement or by a back room threat to her directly, this needs to end.

Because from the maps above it appears to me that Obama is the GE disaster waiting to happen.

13. thoroughly Agree
There is no way Obama can win. These republicans are going back to McCain for the GE. I heard one on c-Span say he is voting for Obama in the primaries, but will vote for McCain in the GE. I really think a lot of democrats know this too.

I just read somewhere today that he was booed roundly while making a speech. Maybe his fat hand won't be pulling strings much longer. I read this on the computer, don't remember which site.

Either way we'll get it straightened out when Obama becomes the presumptive nominee in June.

11. McCain cannot win against Hillary
He is for the war, and all. I therefore believe that he cannot win or even come close against Hillary. Obama has a lot in his background that will be brought out in the GE, I believe, ...Rezco for one. Also he doesn't look to be in good health, he is so teribly thin. Now my relatives in Arkansas are voting for Hillary. My relatives in Tex. are voting for McCain because they are republicans. All of my California relatives are for Hillary. I belong to a garlic noses Italian family who will not be voting for Obama. I'm afraid that Jeremiah W. ruined Obama's chances for getting any votes of Italian descent families and Jewish families(a huge voting bloc). I really think McCain is too old also to win against almost anyone.

15. I didn't say anything about a radio show
It was on C-Span's call in on early mornings. I watch it every day almost. Are you intimating that blacks should NOT call in? I certainly hope not. The program on C-Span is "Washington Journal". I love the call in portion of the program.

18. I don't see anything bigotted at all about repeating
...what I saw on C-Span's Washinton Journal program. It is a perfectly legitimate program, and the call in portion of the program is very enlightening. I'm not sure, but I think you may be able to look it up on C-Span website. The young man did call in and say Michelle Obama started the mudslinging, and her comments about Hillary "not being able to control" her husband were hurtful not only to Hillary but to other women whose men have strayed. Obama enjoys favoritism from the media, so the topic was dropped after a day or so. If you want her full remarks I suggest you google this: Michelle Obama's remarks about Hillary Clinton's inability to control her husband".

20. Was that caller white, or black?
Edited on Sun Mar-30-08 02:03 PM by VolcanoJen
:eyes:

At any rate, the Michelle Obama quote is well known, and also very misleading, because it's often "snipped" to appear to be an attack on Hillary, when in actuality, the quote is about how important it is to keep one's family level-headed during the madness of a campaign. You're the one who ought to get-to-googling. But here, I'll do the leg work for you!

http://mediamatters.org/items/200708220011

MICHELLE OBAMA: That one of the most important things that we need to know about the next President of the United States is, is he somebody that shares our values? Is he somebody that respects family? Is a good and decent person? So our view was that, if you can't run your own house, you certainly can't run the White House. So, so we've adjusted our schedules to make sure that our girls are first, so while he's traveling around, I do day trips. That means I get up in the morning, I get the girls ready, I get them off, I go and do trips, I'm home before bedtime. So the girls know that I was gone somewhere, but they don't care. They just know that I was at home to tuck them in at night, and it keeps them grounded, and, and children, the children in our country have to know that they come first. And our girls do and that's why we're doing this. We're in this race for not just our children, but all of our children.

Or perhaps the caller was trying to mislead you about this quote?

23. Good Try
But this is not what I heard M.O. say out of her own mouth. She definitely said ("Hillary can't be trusted to run the White House, because she can't control her own husband". A very foolish statement to be sure, since nobody controls an adult person. Case closed. I know what she said and what everyone who watches Television saw and heard her say.

25. No, the case is not closed.
Find a link to Michelle's quote and paste it here for all to see. If Mrs. Obama actually said that, you won't have any trouble finding that quote online. Go for it, if you're so sure of yourself. Prove me wrong. C'mon. I dare you.

As I posted earlier, this is probably the interview you're thinking of. Watch it, and you'll realize that your own memory has failed you.

Sorry, I know you're new around here, but you can't run around slinging mud and expect people to buy into your bullshit without some kind of proof. You're attempting to mislead people. The good Hillary Clinton supporters around here don't pull this kind of shit.

24. Absolutely True
These are facts that have been reported. However, I don't see accusations made agains Obama being reported MSM. But go on the internet and you'll find plenty of accusations about Obama's lifestyle. These aren't being investigate by MSM, but they will be in the GE. Bill O'Rielly has threatened to expose the rumors, but I'm sure he will wait until after the nomination.

I think either one will beat McCain like a narc at a biker rally once we actually turn our attention to him. I mean, he's even fucking up on his own without us doing anything to him (see Lieberman's need to correct him, McCain not knowing the condoms prevent STD's).

Fear not! :)

What in the hell is WRONG with people?

Losing Michigan and New Hampshire?

New Jersey and fucking MASSACHUSETTS in play with Obama?
Washington, Oregon, and CONNECTICUT in play with Hillary?

Excellent work, campaigns. That's just brilliant. Having to defend what should be the bluest of blue states.

And boy, people really are idiots aren't they, to vote for McCain after 8 years of Bush. Good Lord.
