If I had to sum up the neediness of the Clinton campaign into a single sentence, it'd be this: |
|
"Why don't you LIKE me?!"
That's why she turns me off--she's constantly questioning our loyalty as Democrats and our reasoning as American voters. It's never a question of "Why not vote for me?" it's more a question of "How could you NOT vote for me?! Does the title of "First Female President" mean nothing for you? What about the last name of 'Clinton?' Well, that's my last name too! So how could you pick this new guy over ME?"
"I don't get it--you've known me for years, and it STILL seems like you don't particularly care for Hillary Rodham Clinton. WHY is that?"
I don't care for you because your campaign is always ASKING me why I don't, Hillary.

that Obama supporters still feel the need to constantly attack Clinton's character while complaining about every slight to their own candidate.
Obama isn't a stranger to making appeals like the one you've described. Neither are the folks advocating for him. neither are the ones running his campaign.

4. Then how do you explain what they've done to Bill Richardson? |
|
They should have taken it in stride. Richardson is a true Democrat and a good man, and HRC's people are calling him a traitor. To whom? Not to the Democrats...
It's not about the smears and attacks so much as what the responses to said setbacks look like.

5. Why is it an attack to point out why you don't like a candidate? |
|
At least Bicoastal expressed his/her opinion in an intelligent manner. Then you turned around and attacked Obama supporters bigtree. You're better than that!

|
her as nonessential. how is she supposed to get their support in the GE? Oh, right. the fifteen state strategy. we can see how well that is working.

2. Time and space prohibit my response |

As an Obama supporter, I pray that he wins it all. As a Democrat, I will vote the party line in Nov. But even when Bill was in office, I never really cared for Hillary. She is very smart and shrewd but has a grating, pushy quality about her that I can't put on ignore.

13. Just where did YOU learn math? |
|
No poll or raw vote total gives Hillary 1/2 of the votes, 1/2 of the people, or 1/2 of the states.
Maybe close to 1/2 of the Super Delegates?

14. If she had half of the total votes, total primaries, total caucuses, total delegates, etc... |
|
she wouldn't have her campaign moving those goalposts so often.

16. As a gay person, I'd sum up her attitude toward any of us who fail to fawn over her as this: |
|
"How can you be so UNGRATEFUL?"
