If Edwards will endorse Hillary, it'll be after Pennsylvania
He'll want his endorsement to have maximium impact.

If Hillary wins Pennsylvania big and the next day flies out to North Carolina for an Edwards endorsement, it creates momentum in the media narrative and that narrative is what causes the poll numbers to jump. It gets the talking heads on TV talking about the endorsement and her big win for days.

So if Edwards is going to endorse Hillary, he'll do it after Pennsylvania.

22. Nope. She likes Hillary now that they've met/talked more, but she dislikes Obama.....
He was smug with Edwards after he dropped out. Then Obama got into a fight with her about health care. He claimed his plan was universal, which she thinks is a crock, and told him so.

7. Big difference between a primary and general election.
However I generally agree with you that the time for an Edwards endorsement to make a real impact has long passed.

5. Edwards WILL NOT endorse Hillary
She is the polar opposite of Edwards. She is the exact type of corporate establishment weak-kneed politician that Edwards railed against constantly in his campaign.

You don't seriously think he will endorse her do you?

6. Depeche Mode says it best:
Dream on dream on

Blame it on your karmic curse
Oh shame upon the universe
It knows its lines
Its well rehearsed

It sucked you in, it dragged you down
To where there is no hallowed ground
Where holiness is never found

Paying debt to karma
You party for a living
What you take wont kill you
But careful what youre giving

Can you feel a little love
Can you feel a little love

Dream on dream on

8. I Don"t Think He Will
According to the MSM and so-called pundits he should have endorsed both of them about one hundred times.

10. Polls show that an Edwards endorsement would do more harm than good in NC
I expect he'll probably wait and endorse the winner of his state. That'll take the pressure off him.

I think that's wishful thinking, at best.

14. I don't see what the advantage in endorsing Hillary would be.
It wouldn't change a thing, and would make it impossible to be part of an Obama Administration.

The biggest thing going against Hillary is her $ problem.

A lot of DUers are willing to throw good money after bad, but Edwards isn't tied in so sentimentally to Clinton that he would do that sort of thing.

15. That would be a good plan
She is expected to win Pennsylvania anyway. She'll get a bump from that then when Edwards endorses her going into NC the momentum will be on her side.

17. It won't help much
I love the guy, but Edwards just isn't that popular here in NC anymore. The PPP polling this past week on the impact of an Edwards endorsement confirms that.

21. At this point, I might admit that he would like to, or feels obligated.
Otherwise an Obama endorsement would have been previously well-timed. But I doubt, at this point, that any good time for a Hillary endorsement will arrive.

25. I think he's waited too long
he should have said something before the Iowa convention, where 1/2 of his delegates went to Obama. It's been downhill since then.

Or in other words, how do you know that? If it's mere speculation on your part, you should say so.
