If you have labored at one of the caucuses, or one of the primaries - - - Thank you we have been watching you and are proud of being your friend.


If you have been one of the posters here who has defended an idiotic charge made against your opponent - - Thank you.


If you have worked and researched on a subject you thought was critical for DU folks to understand but no one seemed to get it and it sunk to the bottom and was seen by only 14 people - - - Thank you for the effort.


If you have used some other means to raise the bar of discourse at DU - - Thank you every kindness helps.


If you have been talking to co-workers, friends, or others and have stood up and gently confronted people who were attacking one of our candidates - - - Thank you this is change that is powered from the bottom.


If you are a moderator or work in some other way to make the DU a home for those of us that love to participate in our Democratic values in an imperfect democratic republic - - Thank you.


If you work on a related blog or website that is regularly used by the crowd - - - Thank you, you save us hours of time.

If you have taken time out to teach your children or some other younger folks about the historic year we are having - - Thank you.


If you feel that you have done something to help move this country back from the nightmare of the Bush/Cheney tyranny and helped awaken the great spirit of progressive values in America but I have not listed them - - - Thank you.


And of course a thank you to all the candidates and their families who must bear unbelievable scrutiny, exhausting schedules, and tremendous sacrifices to their families - - - Thank you.
