WASHINGTON -- Slowly but steadily, a string of Democratic Party figures is taking Barack Obama's side in the presidential nominating race and raising the pressure on Hillary Clinton to give up.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota is expected to endorse Sen. Obama Monday, according to a Democrat familiar with her plans. Meanwhile, North Carolina's seven Democratic House members are poised to endorse Sen. Obama as a group -- just one has so far -- before that state's May 6 primary, several Democrats say.

1 Senator + 6 House members (one already endorsed Obama) = 7 superdelegates

7. What a RW and LW collaboration to destroy ONE of our BEST Democrats............
if it wasn't such a disgrace, it might be laughable.

9. It's a political campaign.
Obama is trying to win the nomination. He is not trying to destroy anyone. And for that matter, if Clinton is getting destroyed it's partly of her own making.

But I do agree that the right wing has tried to destroy the Clintons. But that has nothing to do with the contest between Obama and Clinton for the nomination. And once Obama gets nominated the RW will also try to destroy him if they can. Actually, they are already trying it.

8. that's cool
I first read it as the North Carolina house which would have been nice, but now I see it's the NC members of the US house, which is outstanding.
