I will support the first Democratic candidate who calls upon their superdelegates
in Congress to defund the war and to start drawing up articles of impeachment. Cheney first.

That is a promise.

Between Hillary and Obama, I mean. If Kucinich is still in the race, I know he wants to do these things.

But seriously, they are fighting so hard. Why haven't either of them resorted to the radical Democratic option? End the war now! Go that one step beyond the other guy. See how America responds.

Hillary in particular needs something to revitalize her campaign with the base. Declare a state of economic crisis. Say that the war is not working and we need to stop pouring our money into it so that we can solve the problems here at home. That way if she does not get the nomination, she goes down in a blaze of ideological glory. And it just might capture the imaginations of fed up Democrats.
