Washington: Obama 48% - McCain 43%, McCain 46% - Clinton 43%
Monday, March 31, 2008

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely Washington state voters finds Barack Obama leading John McCain 48% to 43%. When matched against Hillary Clinton, however, it’s McCain with a three-point edge, 46% to 43%. Those results reflect a slight improvement for the Democrats compared to a month ago. They also are similar to results from the Evergreen State’s southern neighbor. In Oregon, Obama leads McCain by six while McCain leads Clinton by six...

Obama is viewed favorably by 57% of voters statewide while McCain earns positive reviews from 56%. Just 43% offer a favorable opinion of Clinton.

9. Bush won on (besides the election frauds) "electability"
...being seen as someone you could have a beer with (despite his alcoholism !). I can't say that I'd go and quaff some Budweiser with HRC, but Obama I could definitely have a brew with.

7. Thanks for the post, but Rasmussen sucks. I don't trust it even if it's good news for Obama

8. And Bill Clinton says don't talk about HRC destroying the party

10. I dare to say this could be a trend...I HONESTLY thought it take longer for Obama to show any gaines
...on McSame.

I also don't think McSames econ speech helped him any...the "you're on your own" unless it'll cause "enormous damage" (aka, companies going under will cause "enormous damage" so we have to save them).

That speech was littered with FU little guy talk

11. Bad news for Gregoire if HRC is the nominee
Her fight against Rossi is expected to be close. Gregoire needs a strong presence at the top of the ticket, one of the reasons she has endorsed Obama

12. It's scary that Hillary has the possibility of losing WA.
Obama definitely seems stronger out west. On the other hand, they hate Hillary out there.

14. WA might turn red is Clinton is the nominee.
I remember how ,for a supposedly "liberal" state, close the 2004 election was here.
