How exactly is Hillary going to get enough superdelegates? |
|
Seems that almost every day, we see more and more superdelegates pledging their support for Obama. I believe I read that today, all of the North Carolina House Democrats are going to throw their support behind Obama.
This is a serious question. Both candidates are going to have to rely on the SD's, there's no denying that. And I realize that even when a SD announces their endorsement, that endorsement isn't binding, and can change between now and the convention. But given the current trend, I just don't see how Hillary can pick up enough SD's to overtake Obama.
We've seen some of her big money donors send threatening letters to Pelosi, practically telling her to STFU. What's next, sending cease-and-desist letters to each and every superdelegate, telling them not to make any public announcements that could sway the election one way or another?
Looks like much of what Hillary and her supporters have been doing lately is backfiring. Having Carville come out and call Richardson a "Judas" simply for not backing his former boss's wife probably didn't win the campaign very many friends either.

First, she's going to challenge their credentials.
You got that right. She's going to comb through all of the Superdelegate paperwork and look for messy handwriting, coffee rings and i's that are not dotted.
If that paper work isn't flawless...YOU WILL ALL GO DOWN!!!!
So...steel yourself John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of you governors, Senators, mayors and members of Congress...
...Princess Inevitable is coming after you with her AP Style Manual.
(Hillary is pretty much a punchline in a pantsuit, at this point).

From my point of view, it looks like the worst enemy to the Hillary Clinton campaign for President is nothing more than the Hillary Clinton Campaign, including Hillary herself, and her LIES about her experience, James Carville, Geraldine F, and all her other surrogates.
They are shooting themselves in the foot. IMO

no one is falling for that moronic shit. In fact, Obama has received 70 SD endorsements since Super Tuesday as compared to poor hilly's measly 9. Tough for hillbots that the SDs are seeing through hilly's desperation.

11. Interesting how MOST of the SDs are from the OLD SCHOOL Democratic Party....... |
|
and/or DO NOTHING CONGRESS and the like. Looks like despite obama's rhetoric for change he relies on the SD votes from the business as usual same. Hypocrite.

6. I agree about the negative stuff backfiring |
|
as well as the point you make about having doubts that super delegates will support Clinton. It's clear that unless something huge happens, Clinton will have no chance of leading in the pledged delegates. I'm pretty sure she'll win Penn, but then again if Obama does well in North Carolina, that could essentially cancel out whatever she picks on on April 22nd. Then you have to look at Indiana and West Virginia. West Virginia looks to be going toward Clinton, but Indiana there isn't a recent poll. Even if she won three of those four (all but North Carolina), the pick up with be negligible.

But that won't stop her, either.
The Democratic Party will have to work together at the convention, and ACT.
I know, they have no experience or natural ability to do that, but Necessity is a Mother.
Between them, I think Howard Dean and Barack Obama can pull it off and herd those cats.
Then it's up to the voters to get out there and make change.

14. When someone give us dirt on Obama and it is proven |
|
That is why she should stay in until the last, because the republicans are going to hit him hard after she leaves. And if she is out then we loose the election.

You don't stay in a race hoping that somewhere along the line, you'll get good verifiable "dirt" on your opponent. At least, most candidates don't do that.
But then again, this IS Hillary we're talking about, and your response speaks volumes.

18. I have a strong feeling Obama will have at least tied her by the 22nd |

They are moving in droves to him right now and I think he's good at keeping them in his pocket, asking some to hold off until the time is right. He's a very smart guy.
