Let me tell you, if I give money to a primary candidate their campaign almost immediately suffers some irreperable damage. I'm talking Gary Hart right before he got caught with a blonde on his lap on the good ship Monkey Business or Jerrry Brown before stories surfaced about all of his rock star pals partying at Linda Ronstadt's house while Jerry was hanging out or Howard Dean right before he said he would like to break up the media monopolies.

Same thing happens when I bet on a race horse that I happen to be a fan of. Hell, I made Secretariat lose--twice.
