Rendell predicts Clinton's lead in Pa. will shrink

PHILADELPHIA -- Gov. Ed Rendell predicted Monday that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's lead over Sen. Barack Obama will shrink before the April 22 primary.

"We have a very strong lead, but I think that lead is going to shrink," Rendell, a Clinton supporter, said on ABC-TV's "Good Morning America."

Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., an Obama supporter, agreed that Obama is "the underdog in our state."

Rendell also said the Obama campaign doesn't want a revote in Michigan and Florida because Obama's supporters know Clinton would win.

So if she wins (as is likely) they can claim a big victory and say they'll stay in the race. North Carolina 'won't count'.

We need to keep the PA bar set high for Hill'ry. No more moving goalposts. No more lowering expectations. I expect her to kick Obama's ass in PA...beat him by 15-18 points!

and informed him about the tens of thousands of new voter registration in the Dem side, most for Obama. The writing is on the wall of the governor's office now, he can't pull it off for Hillary, and he knows it.
