1. 7 weeks to the primary. Get the idea?
Clinton always wins in places Obama hasn't campaigned.

10. Exactly.. she is the "default" everywhere
and Obama has overcome many states. It's always an uphill battle for him, his name hasn't been around for 20 years.

Talk about a closed minded state.

23. Kentucky has all the closed-mouthe Baptist southern whites and none of the black folks
The yellow dog dems who grow marijuana in large quantities in the holler
will break for Clinton because she's not a "scary black guy with a
Muslim name." Louisville will go for Obama in a big way. It is a traditional working class town with lots of different ethnicities.

The Baptists outside Cincinnati will switch parties to vote against the scary black guy. There isn't a real white demographic in Kentucky that
is akin to his Upper Midwestern base of support. Many of the Dems
in Kentucky are disaffected Reagan Democrats who blame non-whites
for turning the Democratic Party into the party of "NAFTA, welfare
and amnesty for illegal immigrants". Clinton seems to be falsely
pandering to them on the basis of her skin and husband's accent,
if nothing else. Talk about kneecapping yourself for the fall --
Clintons are the ones who wrote off Kentucky for the Democrats.

5. Unfortunately, the poorest people are also most fearful of losing what they got.
Fear works for Hillary.

6. And hope works for Obama.
See the big difference? Those poor people rather would have hope than fear.

19. I agree, if Clinton loses PA,
KY will be the final decider! RIGHT???

If she can win KY, she should be the nominee, after losing twice as many states to Obama, just give the Clinton folks KY, and she can run as the nominee.

OY VEY!!!

4. Feh. It'll disappear faster than Hillary's "truths"
Obama will get it down to a reasonable % by the time May rolls around. I don't think Obama has visited KY yet, and I know Hillary has.

8. She led by 20 something in PA, too, also Texas
Texas was close, PA will be fairly close. Obama will solidly take NC and Oregon, which will neutralize PA and KY.

12. Sounds like the goal posts are moving once again
They get around more than the campaign bus. Do they have their own truck, so they can be moved from state to state? :eyes:

16. I lived in Kentucky for awhile, good hearted people but its RUSH LIMBAUGH country
they think he is reading the bible to them when he talks on the radio.

They can't help it, its all they have.

Maybe in the cities, like Louisville, but there's alot of farmland
and more cows than people.

17. hey, only in recent years have people outnumbered cows
in Vermont, and where I live in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, there are still as many cows as people. We've been solidly dem and liberal for over 30 years.

Fla, Mi, Penn, Ohio and Texas then this shouldn't be a big deal for you guys.. right?

21. Good--but not good enough
Hillary needs to get at least 66% of the vote in ALL of the remaining contests if she's serious about kicking it with the superdelegates. And now that Obama has officially won the majority of the delegates in Texas, that percentage has just crept a little harder.

24. Funny thing is, she can win that state, by that margin, and STILL not be on pace to come near his
delegate count or his pop vote total.

Frustrating, isn't it?
