A leading indicator of a doomed candidacy |
|
I'm not naming names, but . . . http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/3/30/162324/643/888/487282"It was a beautiful thing to see -- because the moment a presidential candidate is forced to vow that he or she isn't quitting, you know they are toast."

2. You know, when you think about it -- |
|
that's a pretty accurate observation.
All of the candidates who have withdrawn insisted they were in it for the long run.

12. Hillary has been embraced by the voters. The common denominator |
|
in your list is that they were all badly rejected by the voters.
Edwards might have had a chance but for the slimy MSM.

13. If by 'embraced' you mean 'received fewer votes then Obama'... |
|
...then I suppose you're correct.
Total agreement with you regarding Edwards.

8. It is a very valid observation, but I don't think it will end soon... |

... because of this bunch, Hillary is clearly one of the few that is put into this sort of notoriety of comments that the corporatocracy feels they need to support and not who's left. In most of the other cases, the corporatocracy felt they could own someone else or in fact preferred who was left and were eager to slam the door on that person where possible.
Though it is interesting that perhaps with her not paying her bills that they might be finally writing her off, that is why this has taken and probably will take SO LONG to resolve! They probably also figure that the longer it takes, the more likely McCain will get the nod, who they can control.
It's all about the corporate dollar and power!
