My groveling email to Rush
Rush,

I am with you 100% - I don't want Hillary to be president. You and I could not be

any farther apart, politically. But on this, we are together. I have never trusted

her. But, now, to see her continue on, sour grapes, just ruining our chances

for her own personal aggrandizement, it makes me want to puke.

Therefore, I am asking you, please call all the dogs off in PA. Let her fade

into the sunset - back to the Senate.

Let's have a fair race. You can not have a better, more clear choice - McCain

vs. Obama. Two decent men - with totally opposite beliefs.

Let it happen - and may the better candidate win.

Karen

1. Oh lord.
I thought we had already plumbed the depth of insanity here.

I'm sure Rush will appreciate your email.

4. Yet you parroted the RW line TODAY by taking Obama's words out of context
and smearing him just like Rush would.

8. No, I didn't. But I did ask the mods to lock the thread...
and the mod agreed that the attacks against me in the thread were disproportional for my OP.

13. Did they lock it? You misrepresented what Obama said. He never said what you SAID he said.
You sounded like a RWer. Here's his whole quote:

"This is a very difficult issue, and I understand sort of the passions on both sides of the issue," he said. "I have two precious daughters — they are miracles."

But politicians must trust women to make the right decisions for themselves, he said.

"This is an example where good people can disagree," the Illinois senator said. "The question then is, are there areas that we can agree to that everybody can get behind? We can all agree that we want to reduce teen pregnancies. We can all agree that we want to make sure that adoption is a viable option."

The exchange appeared to be prompted by Obama's earlier comments that he does not favor abstinence-only education, but rather comprehensive sexual education that includes information on abstinence and birth control.

"Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old," he said. "I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby. I don't want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn't make sense to not give them information."

16. They only locked it because I PM'd and asked them to.
I didn't even mention Obama's name in my thread. And I'm not rehashing this with you here.

9. If Obama's as great a candidate as you think, he'll win the nomination.
He doesn't need you soliciting Rush on his behalf.

20. I know he will, Maddy. It's not that - it's just that with Rush telling
his listeners to go out and vote for Hillary, it prolongs the race - when O and resources are needing to
concentrate on McPain.

3. Well, it had to be done...
...don't be surprised if he spins it on his show as "a Liberal begging for mercy because they know "Operation Chaos" is working".

He's such a loathsome swine.

Played right into his hand.

21. How sweet of you. I think he's on the brink. Traveling through
LA and MS and TX last week - he was the only thing I could get on the radio.
By the way he was talking about her last week and laughing about how
she'd never get out (unlike 99% of most candidates who get out when they see a clear winner)
I think he may be close to calling off the dogs.

14. Appealing to his compassion or decency won't work.
He has none of those traits.

He probably won't respond at all, or he'll read your letter on his show, mockingly, so all his dittobots can get a good laugh.

23. Its too late if they haven't registered for PA then they can't vote

I seriously doubt anybody is so motivated that they are going to change their party registration a month a head of time.

There will be a few if they can have same day voting but a month ahead of time - doubt it.
