I'm Sorry DU.... I made a serious faux pas.... twice..... |
|
In 2002 and 2006.... I worked on Ed Rendell's campaign.
I never really liked the guy personally, but the Republican alternatives... Mike Fisher in 2002 and Lynn Swann in 2006... just had to be stopped.
I knew that he was not a very ethical man... that he's was a corrupt mayor who used strong-arm tactics to keep people in line.... but he was better than the alternative.
Now's he out there hinting that whites in PA are too racist to support Obama, and that Fox News is the fairest cable news network.
He's already browbeat my mayor (28-yr-old Luke Ravenstahl) into endorsing Hillary....or else... against his will.
I'm sorry.... in a small way, I helped put a bad man in office.
The good news is that we have term-limits in PA and Fast Eddie can't run again in 2010.

So you worked for Ed Rendell (establish that you somehow knew the politician), you never really like him but he's better than the Republican's (I may have worked for this person because I was paid but I really didn't like him but he was better than the other candidate).
Did I mention he's a racist too? He's out there hinting and stuff! He MADE my mayor do something bad! He's a bad Democrat!
Vote Obama!
Seriously, wtf. This kind of stuff is just ugly and unnecessary. And I think Obama is the better candidate, but this race stuff is garbage. Somewhere out there about 100kb are wasted with this thread.
