In Pennsylvania, Obama surges past Clinton with three weeks left before the Primary

In a Democratic Primary in PA today, 04/01/08, 3 weeks till the votes are counted, Barack Obama defeats Hillary Clinton 47% to 46%, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for WHAS-TV Harrisburg and WCPO-TV Scranton. Obama leads narrowly in greater Pittsburgh, but leads decisively in other parts of the state, including 2:1 in Philadelphia. Clinton trails by 20 among men, trails by 4 among women.

Filtering: 1,600 state of PA adults were interviewed 03/28/08 through 03/30/08. Of them, 1,454 were registered to vote. Of them, 572 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the 04/22/08 closed Democratic Primary

on edit: sorry, the OP was an april fool's joke, but I'll leave this to sort of explain how sampling works, anyway:

of course it IS definitely possible to skew a sample any way you want it to go--say, by deliberately sampling only known heavily republican areas, or by whatever factor you want. Who's to say whether or not every effort was made to keep the sample as representative of the entire population as possible (in this case, "entire population" would be voting Democrats in the state of PA, or those eligible to vote in the primaries), with proportions of every type of group reflecting their true proportions?

It's true that there should be grounds for skepticism about polls, but a sample that size isn't necessarily fallacious.
