|
so the clintons cannot win, but will try to drag this thing out for as long as they can...for god knows what reasons, but anyhow...when do you think it will end?

6. MT and SD vote last in the nation. Puerto Rico is 6/1 and the last two are 6/3. |
|
It will be over no later than the end of the primary elections.
Obama will continue to get more and more super endorsements and one of the states on the way will put him over the top.

10. After Oregon and Kentucky on May 20th. |
|
The reason why I pick those races is because Obama's very likely to get past the magic number of 1627 pledged delegates when Oregon and Kentucky have their primaries.
At that point, it will be mathematically impossible for Hillary to catch up in pledged delegates, even if she gets 100%-0% victories in what's left. The superdelegates are not going to overturn a whole season of democratic elections - they'll get tarred and feathered for that. In fact, they're likely to move to Obama en-masse around that date, if they didn't do so before May 20th.
That's my personal prediction. Clinton might bow out earlier, maybe after Pennsylvania if she doesn't do well enough to make it look good on TV, but I predict it certainly won't last for very long after May 20th.

12. That's my prediction, as well. |
|
Moreover, if about 100 of the remaining 333 super D's have committed to Obama by then, she will not be able to reach 2025. Period.
The only difference in our thinking is how the super D's will move toward Obama -- you suggest en masse. I think they'll trickle in one or two at a time between now and then. Much easier to stay under the radar that way. :D
