Hillary's Bowling Remarks Just Shown on MSNBC...
I supported Edwards and I have tried to stay neutral but I am now for Obama and Hillary's comments using bowling as an analogy just sealed the deal for me. Taking Obama's bowling clip and using bowling terms to say things like, "He should take his campaign out of the gutter" is childish. How little they must have to say if they have to frame (yeah, I know...a bowling reference)their debate using such language. Should Obama start talking about his abilities based on Hillary "misspeaking" her Bosnia experience? I doubt he would. When you have to use that kind of rhetoric...you really have nothing else to say.

1. Lack of character and creativity. I'm now starting to think she wouldn't make a good president but..
...she'll be worlds better than the idiot that is currently in the White House.

77. No, it was a political statement.
The following line took the statement from jolly April Fools Day fun to a typical Clinton smear, catapulting her propaganda...
"It is time for his campaign to get out of the gutter and allow all the pins to be counted."
No one's saying she can't say such things, but don't tell me she's just kidding around. It was a calculated, prepared statement, intended to propagate the distortions she's been promoting for weeks.

I would say not by much.

I'll vote for her if she's the legitimate nominee.
But if she steals the nom in one way or another... no way in hell.

(and the reported score counts only the first 6 frames, excluding Obama's spare in the 7th)

and become a very sad and desperate human being. It's really too bad that she will fail in this election with no dignity left, it will probably hurt her as a Senator as well. Oh well, she dug the hole.

On the bowling note, I think supporters for Obama will be happy to concede that Hillary is a better bowler.

Short of any past scorecards for Hillary, I'd be tempted to put my money behind Obama. Putting aside the first 2 frames, he was doing pretty well.

Obama plays basketball nearly every day. Plus it's more a contact sport. Nope, won't work. But Obama v Hillary bowling for FUN (not delegates, duh) is a good idea. For the sake of party unity. I dare them to do it.

...like when she said, "now the fun part starts" and "change you can xerox." But, as with everything else out of her mouth, her jokes sound like she has a huge chip on her shoulder.

Still, it didn't bother me as much as Joe Scarborough prefacing the bowling story yesterday with "Americans like their presidents to be REAL men, but..." He was still ragging on it today.

Then at looked at the screen and read your thread to him! That's the first I'd heard about the "the gutter" campaign and they "would be sure and count all 10 pins"!!

And the m$$$$m is just eating up hilary's Jerry Springer Show.

"This has been a very hard fought race," she said. "We clearly need to do something so that our party and our people can make the right decision. So, I have a proposal."

"Today, I am challenging Senator Obama to a bowl-off," Clinton said, provoking relieved laughs from the assembled scribes.

Clinton carried on, making reference to Obama's disastrous outing at a Pennsylvania bowling alley Saturday.

"A bowling night. Right here in Pennsylvania. The winner take all," she went on. "I'll even spot him two frames."

"It is time for his campaign to get out of the gutter and allow all the pins to be counted. I'm prepared to play this game all the way to the tenth frame. When this game is over, the American people will know that when that phone rings at 3 a.m., they'll have a president ready to bowl on day one."

"Let's strike a deal and go bowling for delegates. We don't have a moment to spare, because it's already April Fool's Day. Happy April Fool's Day."

47. That's like saying.
Over the gutter comment and using the April fools as a joke.

It's like saying: "Fu*ck You!! - April fools!!"

49. Obviously many don't know what a real April fool's joke is
You're supposed to "fool" (play a harmless trick) someone, not make fun of them. That was just an excuse to be just a wee bit over the top with the gutter comment. She should have left that out. Does she not have ability to edit her own remarks, or does she just recite them as written for her?

74. Certainly, there's nothing funnier than a really bad pun.
I'm not laughing with her, I'm laughing at her.

59. This OP and the hopelessly ironic outrage from those offended epitomize what DU has become sadly.

If y'all were challenged to see who could write the stupidest post based on misinterpretation with delegates as the prize, and you lost, you'd probably hand over the delegates.

Plant, water and grow a clue.

75. Are you joking?
It was a joke! I thought it was funny. Maybe you didn't. But it was a joke. That's it. I can't believe what this place has become.
