Lead off from Matthews on Hardball. Just after he showed a clip of a very NOT funny Hillary Clinton challenging Obama to a Bowl-Off; stating, "I'm ready to bowl on Day One".. and.. "Tell Senator Obama to get his campaign out of the gutter." Then she compared herself to Rocky Balboa.

Perhaps Chris can assuage the fears of Pennsylvania voters who are obsessed with whether their President can bowl or not when he interviews Obama tomorrow. I simply can't wait.

9. What a crock this all is -- Obama bowled 7 frames and minimum score was 47

Personally, I thought all this talk of Obama's bowling score was ridiculous, but now I'm not sure *what* to think... given his score of 37 was from only 7 frames of bowling and failed to account for the spare in the 7th frame -- which means his minimum score would have been 47 for 7 frames. And aside from his first 3 bowls, he did pretty well and was obviously coming-up to speed quickly. (0,4,9,9,7,8,10 pins in each frame)

All the media coverage made it sound like Obama scored 37 from a full 10 frames, which *would* seem a difficult feat for someone able to feed himself; but none of the coverage I saw bothered to mention the abbreviated length nor the competency beyond the first few throws.

The coverage tells me a lot more about the media than it does about Obama.
