MSNBC is NOT airing "free 60-minute Obama campaign commercial"

Since the clarification on this got buried in the other thread, I'm posting a new one. Partly to respond to the WRONG OP, and partly to let y'all know about these shows.

For the last six weeks, MSNBC has been running one-hour biographies of the three remaining candidates, re-running them multiple times (1-3 times per week for each candidate). They've been airing 11 p.m. eastern and 2 a.m. eastern, and odd times during the weekends (apparently in place of some of their prison documentaries--thank god for a respite from those).

I've watched the Clinton and Obama bios a couple times each (not much interest in watching the McCain bio). If you haven't seen either one, I highly recommend checking your local schedule. They're both very interesting.

Where did the mistaken information come from, I wonder? Who started the rumor about Clinton refusing to participate?

Something strange is going on here, a lot of Rove-style rumormongering coming into GDP in a very coordinated effort.

6. I think the other poster is all outraged about the Hardball appearance...

....which Hillary has also been invited to do (but so far declined). However, they ARE airing these fairly good one-hour bios over and over, and I wanted to make sure supporters for both candidates were aware of them (I'm not aligned with either candidate--I was an Edwards supporter and will vote for the eventual nominee).

Those of you who are Hillary supporters will, I think, be very pleased with her bio. :hi:

Furthermore, I have no outrage. In fact, Id like see Hillary on TV as little as possible. I dont WANT to see her for an hour on hardball. But that doesnt change the fact that your talking about MPs OP and referring to a completely different program than the one MP was talking about. What about that arent you understanding? :shrug:

Yes, I am referring to MP's other thread, which was complete bullshit, but counter to that, it struck me as an excellent opportunity to point out the 60-minute bios they're doing on the candidates. I understand all of that quite well.

But what I think the other thread was about was that Obama's going to be on Hardball tomorrow night. McCain is going to be on April 15th. Clinton hasn't taken them up on their offer to be on. :shrug:

not the bios. Obama is on tommorow with Tweety from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Tweety has asked Hillary to do one as well from a PA university or college - still no response from her campaign.
