If Obama or Clinton or any of us could just induce a spectacular mental breakdown in McCain...
Edited on Tue Apr-01-08 06:02 PM by Mike03
What needs to happen is for someone to trigger John McCain to blow his stack or say something so incredibly stupid that there is no hope for recovery of his credibility.

I don't think this will be very difficult. McCain is the biggest loose cannon since Oliver North. We know it, and he knows it. He's trying so hard to be on his best behavior, but the clock is ticking.

Any ideas on how we can exploit his hot buttons and make him explode like a volcano?

What do you think his hot buttons are?

There are probably some very inventive strategists here who can think of a way that our candidates might lure him into a public self-annihilation so fantastic that he can never recover!

2. He'll break down in the debates
That's pretty much a guarantee.

Fortunately for us, lots of people will be watching live.

9. If not before ... wait for him to get into a rigorous campaigning schedule
And with the 24/7 coverage, we'll be treated to EVERY one of his little "slips" ...

6. You know, Mike, I think this will happen
It won't happen until we have a nominee, but I don't think McCain will be able to keep a lid on it through the fall.

10. Wouldn't it be better for us to win because we're right?
And better for him to lose because he's wrong and we realize it.

I sort of expected her to completely lose it and freak out by now, could still happen though and it won't be pretty!

he's the talking point repeater.

14. McSame said this in 1983.
"The fundamental question is: What is the United States’ interest in Lebanon? It is said we are there to keep the peace. I ask, what peace? It is said we are there to aid the government. I ask, what government? It is said we are there to stabilize the region. I ask, how can the U.S. presence stabilize the region?... The longer we stay in Lebanon, the harder it will be for us to leave. We will be trapped by the case we make for having our troops there in the first place.

What can we expect if we withdraw from Lebanon? The same as will happen if we stay. I acknowledge that the level of fighting will increase if we leave. I regretfully acknowledge that many innocent civilians will be hurt. But I firmly believe this will happen in any event."

Now insert “Iraq” where “Lebanon.” is.

In September 1983,McSame made a floor speech that reads as if it might have been written yesterday—by Ron Paul:

17. Obama already has the person who knows all McCain's triggerpoints best.
Read McCain's book and you can find out who it is.

19. Seriously, though I think it will happen just by his inability to compete
with Obama. I tried to compare issues based on the websites. McCain has few issues and the plans are quite vague.
On issues, the way I see it, McCain only seems to know about war. Yet, even border security plan is vague.

That said, anyone have any info on McCain?
