RNC unveils flying superhero donkey
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0408/9303.html

"Tuesday's launch of a new website, created by the Republican National Committee, joyfully chronicles the superdelegate tug-of-war between Democratic presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton with reprints of choice editorial cartoons and excerpts from related news stories.

At the top of website, a flying superhero donkey with a SD emblazoned on its chest straddles a prominent banner that reads "Great Scott! The Power to Choose Does Not Belong to the Democratic Voter!"

<snip>

Republicans, accustomed to decades of being pilloried as the party of elitism and privilege, see great irony in the fact that the Democratic nominee ultimately may be determined by a vote of their party's elite and influential members, rather than the rank-and-file."

And this is why the goalpost moving and the machinations have to stop. This needs to get settled and settled soon. Continue with the primaries, but after that, it needs to be settled. The longer it goes, the worse it's going to get.

1. As if Politico matters. They're part of the "immature political discussion" problem.

2. The point isn't Politico. That is a website that the RNC has set up. That
is how they are viewing it and are going to run on it. It's a foreshadowing of what will be coming down the pike, regardless of which of our candidates is running. I see the tagline now ... "Do you want them to run the country when they can't run their own party?"

3. Well let them try that, however they have a credibility problem.
They are going to lose big time.
