Stupid Question, but who's voting for Hillary?
She's losing. She hasnt made a dip into Obama's pledged delegate lead in over a month. She won Ohio, but lost Texas (and Bill said she'd need both of those states to win). She's ahead in Pennsylvania but far behind in North Carolina. All 8 Democratic House members from North Carolina are coming out to endorse Obama before May 8th.

She's obviously not going to win the popular vote nor the pledged delegate lead (save your Michigan and Florida complaints). Party members like Bill Richardson and others are starting to whisper that it's time for her to drop out to save the party a long, dirty fight. Super delegates are starting to flip from Hillary to Obama as they see the light. Hillary's financial worries continue as reports of unpaid debts are circulating around the nation (like the $300,000 outstanding in healthcare premiums for campaign staff...)

So, here's my question: Who's voting for Hillary when she doesnt look like she's gonna win? People love a winner.

If you wanna flame me go right ahead, but it is something to think about. As calls for Hillary to drop out get louder are voters going to continue to support with dollars and primary votes a failing campaign?

Are not people who post here, not people who want to be known for being that obtuse, not people who have a rational brain, only people with just a fantasy of what it means to be POTUS, and a woman, and want to vicariously live out their fantasies.

In any event, rational thought process, such as is required to be President.....not in evidence here among Clinton supporters, so we only see Hillary supporters who spend the day knocking down Obama for NOT being a full Professor, or NOT earning lots of money out of college, or NOT leaving the church where his friends were, or NOT bowling a top line score after 30 years away from the game.

Obama haters, every one of the Clinton supporters seem to love to hate Obama, and forget all of Hillary's LIES!

25. People voting for Hill don't want a guy who admires one of the
worst Pres. we ever had. People voting for Hill want a true American with American values, not one whom he and his wife both hate America and the white race. People voting for Hill are not fooled by some guy that is all flash and no substance. You know the saying it's not over till it's over? Well, it's not over there's alot of voting to do.

7. Insulting people drives them away from Obama
You visciously attack Hillary's supporters then talk about, "Obama haters?" Look in the mirror.

Myself, I see three republicans running for office.

24. If you feel insulted, perhaps you need an adjustment to your medications
Do NOT let people rent space in your brain!

This is a message board, where people express opinions, if you are not comfortable with other people holding opinions about those who support Hillary, without valid reasons, then perhaps you need to re-adjust how you view and tolerate people who do not think like you do, and have their own opinions.

Either you can stand the fact that some of us think Hillary suppporters are mindless followers of a fantasy, followers who do not look at the math and the facts and Hillary's LIES, and how that can lose us the final election, or you can live in your own world and CHOOSE to be insulted when you read opinions about your thinking process.

5. Still afraid, huh?
The fear of the Obama supporters is palpable. Run Hillary, run. What has these Obama people so frightened of getting to the convention? The process continues.

12. What are we so concerned about?
McCain. That simple. We want to get down to business, and you are blocking the way. Obama will beat McCain. But it gets a little tougher when he is running against McCain while taking friendly(?) fire from Hillary.

20. Maybe you should listen to Clinton's speech today. It was 99% attacks on Bush and Mc Cain.
Obama earned two passing references.

32. I will look that up.
might happen sooner if there was a link.

That said, how much attacked McCain? Bush is self evident, and not attacking him is a loser move from any direction, even McCain's. So how much was an attack on McCain? How unrestrained was it? How many times did she talk about his corruption and lobbyist connections, or his apparent desire to start yet another war? How many were really attacks where it hurts, rather than merely minor distinctions with a "Friend". Did she said "shame on you" to McCain or any other Republican who is running this year? How many times has she mentioned Lieberman and his defection, and the meaning of it?

These are things that a "fighter" would be talking about, in my opinion. But so far as I have yet seen, Hillary's fight is aimed at me and mine, not at the people it should be. If you can show me wrong, I will feel much better about saying that I would vote for her if she was the nominee. If I saw that, when my state gets to our election, I might even consider her rather than just voting default for Obama.

31. Best Primary season in decades
and still going strong. Many news cycles to go yet. Both Senators Clinton and Obama are viable candidates at this point in time with Senator Obama holding a lead. Will he be in the same position when the Convention gets here? Will neither candidate be legitimate by the Convention. Stay tuned, this is a thriller.

Senator McCain isn't going anywhere and just like the rest of us, Senator McCain doesn't know who the Democratic Party candidate will be so the slime machine is on stand-by.

And the way y'all beat her up constantly is helping her cause greatly. Congratulations.

Yep, I agree. I'm not in her camp any more than I'm in the Obama camp.

I think what I think based on watching the playground from outside the fence... where the parents and other adults stand to watch the kiddies play:)

Clinton will play that tune... and it could very possibly do her some good.

19. You're rediculous. Half the people who voted voted for hillary.
The popular vote margin is 1-3 points depending on whether you include Florida. The only reason people like you are trying to end the race is that you don't trust the people in the remaining states to crown your candidate. You realize that she might win some huge victories that will give her a lot of momentum, and are afraid of that. If you weren't afraid of that, you wouldn't be posting stuff like this and would let the process run it's course.

36. People may love a winner,
but also want to vote for whomever they think would be better for the job and to millions of us Obama is not it.

As for the drumbeat of the nervous party leaders, they would sell their mother if they thought that it would be to their best advantage. On the other hand, we who support her don't give a shit what Richardson, Kennedy and the other pompous jerks have to say about it. We will support her until she either gets the nomination or calls it quits on her own. We will then make up our own minds as to how to proceed.

We have several choices:

- vote for Obama
- vote for McCain
- vote for Nader
- write-in her name
- not bother to vote

The last three are the ones I'm considering.
