After seeing the "Frontline" on the Voodoo squad in Iraq, I just want to make one thing clear. |
|
Our two sorry-asssed candidates, and yes both of them are the sorriest excuses for politicians that we could scrape off the floor, better make damn sure they end this war. No more fawning over republicans and playing nice. This war needs to end now.
Hillary and Obama better step up the fact that they must end the war, and be held to doing it, because if they get into office, which is a snowballs chance in Hell now, they will be the last Democrats that will see the White House for a LONG time. The reason? The Democratic party itself is Pelosified into irrelevance, and will be further pushed into absurdity after IF getting the White House do not act aggressively to stop this war. A war this country wants ended.
You would have to be a fucking robot to see that show and not react, but for my generation it is a replay of the documentaries of the Vietnam war, and the hopelessness of it. Now in 2008, we are at it again.
So now run around screaming in circles and pointing at each other, and accuse each others candidate of bad bowling and other shit. Do and prove me right.
Obama and Hillary. I don't want to hear your fucking excuses now, or if either of you two fucking nit-wits gets in the White House you better start day one on ending the war.
And shut the fuck up with the republican worship, both of you.

...but if we want to have any chance of getting out of Iraq, we have to get the GOP voters to get their collective heads out of their asses with more documentaries aor whatever other way so they can see the truth that has been hidden from them for so long.

10. It's a shame they show these kinds of documentaries |
|
only on PBS and cable. If we had real freedom of the press here, stories like these would be on the evening news every night.

6. Hopefully the next debate will be a " Who can abuse McCain the most" one. |
|
Instead of a "REZKO REZKO CHICAGO WRIGHT..." and "WALMART BOSNIA BOSNIA TAX RETURNS..." debate.

We were terribly moved by that piece. This madness just has to stop. It seems that not one of the candidates has a clue.

11. Last night at an Obama meeting for my neighborhood's residents, a woman attended who had just |
|
retired from the military after 23 years. She stated that she had spent a few years in Iraq and had people literally die in her arms there. She said that considering everything the saw and experienced there, when she hears people talk about getting us out of Iraq immediately, she knows its impossible. I will see her again tomorrow and I will ask her a about why she thinks this. She mentioned this all when she introduced herself to our group.

17. I've about given up hope |

that anyone will do anything they have promised. One of the things that killed my soul about Bad Voodoo were the 'lettuce and tomato' runs. In these missions the convoys were not carrying any particular military supplies just requests from private contractors' lists. Our guys are risking being hit by IED's with every mile to bring special comfort items to Blackwater A-holes. That's messed up. If my kid lost his legs for that....
