INDIANAPOLIS - Former Indiana Rep. Lee Hamilton, the top Democrat on the Sept. 11 commission, is backing Barack Obama in an endorsement that could boost the presidential hopeful's national security standing, The Associated Press has learned.

10. Is he a super delegate?
He did work on the 911 Commission. The members of the Commission were bipartisian...so it is a big deal.

16. I didn't see him on DemConWatch's list of super D's
But there are five IN reps still in the undeclared column, so now I'm wondering if he has any influence with them? :shrug:

I mean imagine how McCain feels about having to explain Hillary's endorsement to conservatives. At least Hamilton endorsed within the same party.
