Loyalites aside, what states MUST WE FLIP to win '08.....

It is either gonna be Hillary or Obama. I hope it is Hillary. Many of you hope it is Obama. Regardless, I hope we ALL vote for whoever the Democratic nominee is.

Just curious what states we MUST flip in order to win? What do you think?

Possibilities:

Ohio
Florida
Colorado
Virginia (Maybe)
New Mexico
North Carolina (Maybe)

We hold the others we won in '04.

1. If Obama is the nominee; it's feasible to get VA, NC, NM and CO.

If so, then FL and OH won't matter. I'd LOVE a general election where either one of them aren't the deciding factor.

2. With Obama - he'll get 'em all plus more...

Colorado is ready to turn blue, and we need a great coattails to help elect our 2nd Democratic Senator since Mallard is retiring - Mark Udall has a great chance, and he just needs to beat "Oil" Bob Schaeffer for the position.

I think he'll also nail down one or two more states - maybe a surprise state or two - Texas for one, if he picks the right VP candidate.
